Easy Smoothie Recipes

I’m a massive fan of smoothies in the morning. They’re quick, they’re easy, and they’re GOOD FOR YOU! 🙂 What’s not to love? Today I’m going to share with you some of my favourite easy smoothie combinations.

Please bear in mind that these recipes are more like rough guidelines and can be tweaked however you like according to your own personal preferences e.g. more/less liquid, type of liquid and additives such as nuts and chia seeds.

I also tend to “eyeball” the amounts I use so, therefore, I don’t have a lot of measurements. Essentially, I use a rough handful for most of the fruit.

MY GO TO MORNING SMOOTHIE

  • 1 banana
  • Frozen blueberries
  • Frozen mango
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
  • A handful of almonds (optional)
  • Approx. 200mL water (or whatever liquid you like)

BERRY BLAST

  • 1 banana
  • Frozen blueberries
  • Frozen strawberries (or frozen mixed berries instead)
  • Approx. 200mL water (or whatever liquid you like)

TROPICAL TWIST

  • 1 banana
  • Frozen mango
  • Frozen pineapple
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
  • Approx. 200mL water (or whatever liquid you like)

GREEN MACHINE

  • 1 banana
  • Spinach
  • 1/4 of an avocado
  • Frozen mango/pineapple (if you want some extra sweetness)
  • Approx. 200mL water (or whatever liquid you like)
