Who doesn’t love a good bargain? Especially when it comes to beauty products, in particular – makeup. I’m always on the lookout for great quality products at an affordable price because let’s face it – who wants to spend more money than they have to? Here I’ve compiled my top 5 beauty finds that are all under the $5 mark. All prices are in $AUD.
Sinful Colours Nail Polish – $4.95
Sinful colours can be found at Kmart or Priceline and offer an array of shades. These nail polishes are a great way to experiment with colour and try out new shades.
Essence Single Eyeshadows – $1.00 – $2.00
Essence is one of my favourite affordable brands, and their eyeshadows are a great pick. They provide a wide selection of colours and, like the nail varnishes previously mentioned, are perfect for experimenting, especially if you’re new to makeup.
Savvy Lipstick – $4.99
Lipstick was the first product I ever tried from Savvy, and I was not disappointed. They have a lovely creamy texture and feel great on the lips. They aren’t the most long-lasting; however, for a $5 lipstick, you really can’t complain.
BYS Blushers – $3.95
I’ve had BYS blushers in my collection for years! I remember using them religiously way back when I was first starting out with makeup and would recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable blush.
OXX Highlighter Palette – $4.00
Another Kmart product delivering the goods! Admittedly, the packaging isn’t the greatest, but at $4, you receive 3 highlighter shades and for the price, the makeup is great quality.
Overall, these five products are great options for if you’re on a bit of a budget, or if you’re just starting out with makeup and want to try lots of new products out to learn and see what works for you.
