It only hit me about a few weeks ago that I’m running low on a lot of my skincare items, with my shelves in desperate need of a restock. I don’t know why, but I have seemed to finish up my essential items all at the same time, something that NEVER usually happens.
This week, Priceline had a 40% off skincare sale, a perfect opportunity for me to stock up on some skincare, and try out some new products for winter (I can’t help myself, okay!).
My initial intentions were to pick up some more of the Essano Rosehip Creme Cleanser. If you’ve read some of my other posts, you’ll know how much I love that cleanser, especially for when my skin’s feeling a little more on the drier side. Unfortunately, my local Priceline was out of stock :(. I guess that’s what you get for going in on the final day of the sale, hahaha.
Once I realised I wouldn’t be getting my hands on any cleanser, I looked elsewhere in the store for some other favourites of mine. Firstly, I grabbed some Clearasil Rapid Action Pimple Cream, as I had minuscule amounts of it left at home.
Next up, I saw that there was only one of my much loved night cream, the Sukin Moisture Restoring Night Cream left, so I had to pick it up.
On a similar note, I’m nearly out of my everyday moisturiser, Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturiser for sensitive skin. I use this mainly during the warmer weather and transfer to the Sukin Night Cream during the winter. Nonetheless, I thought I’d pick it up while it was on sale, so I have it ready to go for when I’m after a lighter moisturiser.
Finally, I was on the hunt for a new Facial exfoliator. After searching endlessly, I eventually settled on Biore’s Pore Unclogging Scrub. I haven’t much about this product, but I’d thought I’d give it a try.
That is all the skincare I bought during Priceline’s 40% sale! Mainly just a small stock up of my essentials, but a sale is a perfect excuse to do so!
What’s your skincare essential?
